he Diocese of Varanasi has released its annual Hindi Bible Diary, Satya Dhara 2026, offering a spiritual resource designed to guide Catholics across North India in their daily reflections and faith formation. The diary was officially unveiled during the inaugural session of the regional meeting of bishops, major superiors, members of the Catholic Religious India, and the Regional Priests’ Council at the Nav Sadhana Regional Pastoral Centre. Archbishop Raphy Manjaly of Agra presented the diary, which was received by Sr Mable SRA, provincial of the Society of the Queen of Apostles, and Ronald Tellis, president of the Agra Regional Priests’ Council. The release marks the continuation of a tradition aimed at supporting the spiritual life of Hindi-speaking Catholics, providing accessible guidance for prayer, meditation, and ethical reflection throughout the year. The publication reinforces the Church’s commitment to nurturing a deep connection between faith and daily living in culturally diverse communities.

Edited under the direction of Bishop Eugene Joseph of Varanasi, the Satya Dhara diary brings together reflections contributed by theologians, missionary priests, religious sisters, and lay leaders. Each entry is carefully crafted to offer spiritual insight, ethical guidance, and inspiration for personal and communal growth. Contributors draw upon scripture, Church teaching, and lived experiences to create a resource that is both theologically sound and pastorally relevant. The diary also fosters unity and shared understanding among diverse dioceses by providing a common spiritual reference for clergy and laity. By consolidating these reflections, the publication encourages Catholics to engage with their faith actively, to reflect on moral and spiritual challenges, and to incorporate the principles of the Gospel into everyday decision-making and community service.

The annual diary has become an integral tool for supporting spiritual life and ethical formation, emphasizing the importance of consistency and accessibility in nurturing faith. The Satya Dhara 2026 diary reflects months of careful preparation and collaboration among contributors and diocesan leadership. Its design ensures that daily reflections are easily integrated into personal devotion and communal activities, serving as both a guide and a source of inspiration for spiritual renewal. The publication strengthens the Church’s educational mission and encourages ongoing engagement with scripture, theology, and moral reasoning. By providing a resource that is culturally relevant and linguistically accessible, the Diocese of Varanasi continues to foster a vibrant and informed Catholic community capable of living its faith in practical and meaningful ways.
